FAQs

Do you have to book in advance?

Yes you need to book in advance, you also need to ensure that all of your group have signed up on the booking system prior to arrival, failure to do so may reduce the time you have on the aqua park.

How long are the sessions?

The sessions are 1 hour long including your safety briefing, you will then get about 50 minutes on the water.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age is 6 but they must also be at least 110cm/3’6″ tall.  We recommend that 6 & 7 year olds go on our ‘Junior’ sessions at 10am which are for 6-16 year olds with accompanying adults, no ‘adult-only’ groups are allowed in this session.

Are children allowed to go on the aqua park without an adult?

Children aged 13 and above may go on the aqua park without an accompanying adult but children under 13 will need an adult to supervise them on the aqua park at all times.  The required ratio is 1 adult to 3 children aged 8 and over, and 1 adult to 2 children aged 6 or 7.

How do I book a session?

If you go to our online booking system here you can check availability and book your session for your family and send out email invitations to anyone not on your account.

How do I add family members?

After signing up for the first time you will be asked if you would like to add any family members, if you have already signed up, once you sign in as a ‘Returning customer’ you have the option to add ‘Family member(s)’ on the welcome screen if you scroll down towards the bottom.

How do you invite your guests?

If you go to your booking there is a link that you can copy and paste into an email, or you can send invites direct from your booking, once you enter a valid email address into the ‘Email’ box and tab out it will go grey and ticks will appear to show the invitation has been sent, there is no ‘submit’ button.

What is the cancellation policy?

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, so you can cancel your session with a full refund of your ticket price (booking fee is non-refundable) if you do so 48 hours before your booked session, however if you cancel your session with less than 48 hours notice then you will not be entitled to a refund. Please note if you cancel it yourself via the booking system with 48 hours notice the credit will go onto your aqua park account for you to re-book, if you are unable to re-book please email accounts@hannamswakehub.com with details of your booking to enable us to refund the money back to you, via the method with which you paid.

Do I need to bring ID?

If your child looks younger than our minimum age (6 years old) or if you are signing for yourself and look younger than 21 then you may be asked to show ID, if you cannot prove that you are over 18 and do not have an adult with you who can sign on your behalf then you will be refused admission to the aqua park.

Do I need a ‘Fast Pass’?

We do not currently need the ‘Fast Pass’, as long as everyone who is participating has signed up and agreed to the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and signed the ‘Release of Liability’ then we only need the name that the booking is under.

It won’t let me sign my child up with their date of birth?

Due to the GDPR regulations you cannot sign a child up without being attached to an adult’s account, so please sign up with your own details first as the parent/guardian, you can then add family members without re-entering all the contact information.

Do you have changing rooms and showers?

There are outdoor changing rooms but we do not have showers, however the water is fresh clean water that has received an ‘Excellent’ water quality rating.

What do we need to bring?

You will need something to wear under a wetsuit i.e. swimming costume/shorts plus a towel for afterwards, suntan lotion is also recommended. If you have spectators coming to watch, a camera would be a good idea to capture some of the fun moments, but please note cameras and phones are not allowed on the aqua park.

Do I have to wear a wetsuit?

We recommend wearing a wetsuit to keep you warm, buoyant and protected from the sun, (there is no extra hire charge so no reason to get cold unnecessarily) however if you’d rather not wear one you do not have to, but please ensure that your attire does not have any sharp zips or attachments which could damage the inflatables, and female participants should wear shorts over bikini bottoms/swimming costume.

Can I go on the aqua park whilst pregnant?

We do not recommend using the aqua park equipment whilst pregnant.
